She's baa-aaack!!!

Wow, I cannot believe it has 2 1/2 years since my last post! I never thought it would be that long! But, I have been very busy with my job, for which I have a long commute, plus our little boy had some issues which turned out to be high-functioning autism (don't worry, he is doing fine, in fact is being tested for the gifted program at his kindergarten---he just needs some extra support and has to be in a smaller classroom for certain subjects), and what with one thing and another...well, the time just flew.

We have had 2 1/2 years to settle in, so you would think our place would be a wonderful showplace, but I am still trying to get it in order. It's really hard when you're gone ten hours a day and have a little guy to come home to. However, I do have some things to share, including this picture of the trees in our front yard this spring:

I am waiting for Clint to download some pictures he took of a quilt my mom just gave me. She is getting close to retirement and has decided her retirement hobby is going to be quilting, so she has bought a fancy new sewing machine and is going to town. Pics to come!
